Recently, I have begun working on a series of portraits of First World War poets who died during the war and of my ‘Cultural Super Heroes’ – these have so far been men with great beards! As well as these, I have created portraits of my close family. These portraits have used traditional techniques, including hand and machine embroidery, as well as hooky matting. You can find out more about the individual portraits in the ‘portrait’ section of ‘Subjects’ in the drop down.
